When to provide Executive one to one coaching?
When to provide Executive one to one coaching?

Years ago Executive coaching had a stigma of negativity attached to it; in terms of if Executive coaching was provided for you by your organisations many leaders thought that their employers were actually telling them that they had issues with their leadership style. However over the last few years Executive coaching has almost become “trendy” and if Executives are not offered a coach they almost feel that they are not considered as key talent within the organisation.

Once individuals reach manager or director level, the need for a tailor-made, personal solution increases which is why so many organisations are now choosing to provide Executive coaching for their executives. Executive coaching is personal, it is on a one to one basis for each individual, and it provides support for their executives and ensures continuous personal and professional development for their executives.

Many organisations that provide executive coaching prefer to work with an Independent and external coaching as an Independent Coach can reflect ideas evoke solutions and support their implementation in a way that few organisational insiders could ever do. One to One sessions are confidential and last for 1 hour. These can be either face-to-face or over the telephone.

Executive coaching is the best choice in the following scenarios:-

• To provide Support following a promotion

• To provide Support for a new member of staff

• To Provide recognition to high achievers and your organisations future leaders

• To help individuals meet KPI’s

• To provide Support for an individual who has non-work related issues that are affecting their performance.

• To assist an individual to increase their confidence in their role, for example improving their presentation skills.

We recommend having a series of coaching sessions as this enables you to build up momentum & to be empowered to continue with your action plans after the coaching sessions finish. We suggest that booking a series of 4 coaching sessions is a good starting point.

Before hiring a coach some people like to see whether coaching is for them so at Sales and sensibility we provide a complimentary one off coaching session which you can register for today by clicking here …

50% of UK Companies now have coaching initiatives within their organisations.
